Werewolf Western Coming From ‘Tigers Are Not Afraid’ Director Issa López and Guillermo del Toro

Issa López ‘s  Tigers Are Not Afraid is earning raves from everyone who sees it – including filmmaker Guillermo del Toro . Now, López and del Toro are teaming up for a  werewolf Western . If that doesn’t excite you at least a little, you should probably check your pulse. And while I’m sure the movie will be classier than just a series of scenes where werewolves wear cowboy hats and fire six-shooters, I wouldn’t complain if that’s all it turns out to be. Tigers Are Not Afraid is now playing in select theaters, and the buzz for the movie isn’t letting up. The Spanish-language Mexican horror movie had its premiere last year at Fantastic Fest, and it’s been riding a wave of praise ever since. That praise has been coming from some big names, too. Stephen King said: “This is one terrific film… two minutes in, I was under its spell.” And Neil Gaiman stated: “A fairytale for today, beautiful shocking and chilling, it celebrates the power of belief and resilience. What Nigeria’s Nollywood Can Learn from Med Hondo’s "West Indies"

West Indies One of the biggest revelations at the 72nd Locarno film festival was a film made 40 years ago. This despite its landmark status as one of the most important films to ever come out of African cinema. Adapted from a play, Les négriers (The Slavers) by Daniel Boukman and shot in Creole and French, the fate of West Indies was perhaps sealed back in 1979 when it landed on an unsuspecting French public and was received with a shrug. It would take another six years for the film to get an American release. They are my call for freedom. » he tells us about photography. To his feminine models shots to his photographs of landscapes and road trips, with his friends, André Josselin takes pictures as souvenirs. As he says : « With the photographs, I want to create something that stays. Something that survives. Something that someone will find on their attic in 30 years. Awesome Colorful Visual Art

Silhouettes of people encrusted in a celestial, aquatic or even abstract decor ? This is what we suggest you to discover through the works of the artist aka Joytwo on Instagram. At the top of a mountain, on the tip of a rock or falling, the contrasting silhouettes imagined by the artist, in an surreal almost spooky decor, give us a feeling of fear and euphoria at the same time. A feeling of emptiness, but beautiful, sweet and attractive !   Fubiz Media https://ift.tt/2LgWrmL August 30, 2019 at 06:00AM
