The graphics on this Yoga Mat help guide you through stretches, exercises, and postures!

Perhaps one of the most ingenious uses of patterns I’ve seen in a while, the Kyoma Yoga Mat from 1026 Studio comes with a neat set of graphics printed onto it. However, look closer and they’re actually a catalog of 118 exercises/postures for you to choose from! Fulfilling the role of a mat as well as an instructor, the Kyoma Yoga Mat really gives you a neat menu of positions to choose from. The mat’s graphics are split into two distinct categories with 59 stretching exercises and 59 yoga postures, and there’s even a kamasutra edition with 59 poses, but hey… we’re a family-friendly website. Go look it up on your own if you want. The mat uses a two-layer construction, with a hypoallergenic cork upper, and a TPE base that prevents it from slipping or skidding while you meditate/exercise. The cork’s naturally anti-bacterial too, so all you need to do after a yoga-session is to wipe the sweat down and you’re good to go! Designer: 1026 Studio Click Here to Buy Now Click Here to...

This ‘Among Us’ inspired heater does its one task pretty well!

A slightly stout and pudgier version of the Among Us astronauts, the Weird Heater (that’s what it’s called, apparently) is a pretty adorable anthropomorphic appliance that emits heat from its ‘face’. With an air intake on the back that pulls cool air in, the heater’s internal coils warm the air up before finally pushing them out the front… If the heater had a face-mask and foggy glasses, it would be the ultimate symbol of this pandemic. The presence of an air-intake on the back means that the heater doesn’t have its signature Among Us backpack, but there’s a knob on the side that lets you power the device and control its temperature/intensity, oscillating between two settings. I’d call this concept pretty cool… but for a heater, that would be incredibly sus. Designer: Haha Ha Yanko Design https://ift.tt/3f4Rufh November 14, 2020 at 12:30AM

Gamer Amputee gets real-life Venom Snake bionic arm – and its finally available for sale!

29-year old Daniel Melville from Reading was born without his right hand, loves gaming (Metal Gear Solid in particular) and yes, Venom Snake is his favorite character. Now the geeky boy has got his wish granted as he now gets to role-play the protagonist of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (who lost his left arm and use of his right eye in an explosion) in real life. The game released by Konami in 2015 has been hugely popular – and it’s only fitting they have collaborated with Bristol-based robotics tycoon Open Bionics to create the outer shell for the Hero Arm. “We’re incredibly excited to collaborate with Open Bionics, who are at the cutting edge of robotics,” said Takayuki Kubo, president of Konami Digital Entertainment. Just the mention of a bionic arm that actually looks strikingly similar to the Venom Snake’s real arm is exciting. All the unfortunate upper limb amputees who are fascinated by gaming will be having their eyes set on this amazing sync of technology and design ...
