The CW Moves 'The Originals' Season 5 Premiere & Pushes 'Life Sentence' to Fridays

Change of plans, Klaroline fans. "The Originals" Season 5 premiere will now arrive two days earlier.

Instead of Friday, April 20, the final season of "The Originals" will begin Wednesday, April 18 at 9 p.m., right after the special musical episode of "Riverdale."

Sounds like the "Vampire Diaries" spinoff is going to stay on Wednesdays instead of Fridays, which reads like a vote of confidence from the network. Or at least a vote of no confidence for Lucy Hale's low-rated "Life Sentence," which has been sentenced to Fridays.

Sorry, Lucy Hale.

The CW released its midseason schedule on March 30. Here's the press release with the new updates:

The final season of THE ORIGINALS will now make its debut on a new night, Wednesday, April 18 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT), following the "CARRIE The Musical" episode of RIVERDALE.

Following next Wednesday's original episode, The CW's new series LIFE SENTENCE will return with new episodes on its new night starting Friday April 27, (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT).

Prior to its move to Friday, viewers can binge LIFE SENTENCE from the beginning on cwtv.com and The CW App.

This scheduling move impacts the previously announced season finale dates for JANE THE VIRGIN, which will now air in its regularly scheduled time period on Friday, April 20 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT), and DYNASTY, which will now have its season finale on Friday, May 11 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT).

Common Causes of Wi-Fi Connectivity Problems

Imagine settling in for the night to watch a few episodes of your favorite binge-worthy TV show when suddenly, your streaming service stops loading, and all you can do is watch the Wi-Fi go in and out, hoping the endless buffering stops soon. You might be gritting your teeth just thinking about it — you and 7 billion other people. The demand for Wi-Fi is now global. In a study, 75% of people reported that they’d be grumpier during a week without Wi-Fi than they would during a week without coffee. In fact, 60% of the same group said they couldn’t go without Wi-Fi for even one day! When the Wi-Fi is down, our internet-dependent world quickly comes to a halt. Our emails stop loading, our virtual assistants stop responding, our tablets and laptops become useless, and our phones dip into our precious data supply. Approximately 71% of all our mobile communication occurs over wireless internet, according to Wi-Fi Alliance, and surveys say we like it that way. Wi-Fi is now the preferred me...
