When Glass Meets Stone

When three designers choose to collaborate in order to bend the elements to their desire, it produces a wonderful work, presented at this year’s Zona Maco art fair, Mexico City. Hector Ersawe, Emiliano Godoy and Brian Thoreen tried to confront glass to other materials : stone, copper, steal…. This duel of transformed materials, through human hands, reveals the malleability of glass as a design object.

Shaped in a glass-bowers studio, which means a lot of collaborative work, these objects are true technical fabulosity, polished by the elements, showing their strength and beauty.
